Attention is the highest form of love. I came to know it through colors, shapes, and details that gave me the chance to create worlds and the ability to love.

SILVIA

Silvia is an artist born and residing in Rome, Italy. Her interest in brushes and palettes began when she was just a child. This passion led her to attend an art-focused high school and then pursue university courses in art history. She spent over ten years living in southern Italy, where she worked as an interior designer and participated in local art exhibitions. Here, where the line between dreams and waves is thin, she fell deeply in love with the sea, which became her faithful companion in her drawings. After many years, she returned to Rome, her hometown, which continues to inspire her every day.

Silvia’s works come to life in many forms: paintings on mirrors or wood, watercolors, mosaics. Her palette is marked by vibrant colors, with hues of green, blue, and purple often in the spotlight, combined with linear, intangible, and clear brushstroke techniques. Her figures appear fragile, yet at the same time, they are suspended and dynamic, as if wanting to communicate, trapped in an endless dream. They take shape through intricate patterns that recall the designs of Gustav Klimt, with clear influences of Naïve Art. Her one true love, the sea, emerges in various facets, in the form of abstract squids and fish, kimonos adorned with silver motifs, mandalas, Tiffany glass, and mosaics.

Her paintings seem to radiate hope and light, yet behind them lies a deeper meaning. A melancholy woven into a cycle of dreams, a metamorphosis of butterflies, dragons, and creatures, a yearning for redemption.

Silvia’s world is immersed in infinite details, in a quest for decoration that reveals her passion for medieval art and illuminated manuscripts.
